Sound Bites from Nights Out with the Coworkers

*Let it be known that Kim is one of the American teachers at our school. This scene took place at an apartment gathering a while back and a few soju drinks in.

American: Kim, you suck!

Korean: Hey, that is my dad's name - Kim, Yu Suk.

Hilarious!

*One night after work, a group of the teachers went to have a beer at a nearby bar.

Korean: Can I say, "Michael, has bush?"

American: Um, no. That means something dirty.

This awkward conversation continued for 20 minutes, including vulgar body language to decipher the differences of "bush" the noun and "bushy" (as in hair) the adjective.

Good Times.

"Today is a Easter. Do you know it? I am Catholicism. Jesus is Resurrection. Congratulations Jesus!"
