"Dragged down by the deepest recession since the Great Depression, Oregon schools were essentially flat-funded for 2009-10 and expect to be again for next year. That prompted the worst hiring season in at least a generation in spring 2009. Most graduates of Oregon teacher preparation programs could not find teaching jobs in state.
This spring, many of those 2009 graduates, like Dunn, are back in the pool alongside a whole new cadre of soon-to-be-minted 2010 graduates."
I think someone needs to alert the world that the "American Dream" is over. Even if you spend $30,000 on a degree, the job market is pitiful. Thank you Korea, for hiring me and allowing me to pay my exorbitant student loans back to the US government.
:( Sucks
